We work a great deal with the modern nose-bridge-preserving technique known as dorsal preservation, as well as with hybrid techniques — not exclusively with traditional structural septorhinoplasty. The natural nasal bridge is preserved instead of being taken down and rebuilt.

This has three advantages: the result looks particularly natural, it is stable in the long term, and the risk of later irregularities on the nasal bridge is reduced — which counts above all with thin skin, because there even the smallest edge becomes visible. Certain deviations also recur less often.

An honest classification matters to us: dorsal preservation is not generally superior, but for many findings it is the gentler choice. Whether it is an option for your nose is shown by the examination in the initial consultation — and that is precisely why our surgeons master both routes.

In 2026 Dr. Christoph Grill and DDr. Jessica Wittmann spent a fellowship in Brazil working intensively with new and modern techniques of rhinoplasty — with a focus on thick skin and on ethnic nasal shapes. These techniques now feed into the work at the Kuzbari Centre.

Noses with thick skin, a broad bony base or a tip with little definition need a strategy of their own: building up rather than taking down. A stable cartilage framework carries the tip against the thick skin and gives it from within the definition that cannot be worked out from the outside. Added to that is careful handling of the soft-tissue envelope, which with thick skin co-determines over months how fine the result finally looks. The character of your nose is preserved in the process.

Measured, not estimated. During her nasal operations DDr. Jessica Wittmann also works with the projectometer: the sterile measuring instrument records the projection of the nasal tip and the height of the bridge in millimetres — before the first step and after every further one, each time against the plan from your 3D simulation.

Anyone unhappy with their nose also knows what they would like to change. But will it actually look good? Are the proportions right — and, far more importantly: do doctor and patient have the same picture in mind?

Our Vectra 3D simulation device has an answer to all of these questions: a precise three-dimensional model of your face that you can model together with us according to your wishes. That way we make sure we have the same idea of your future nose as you do.

Our 3D simulation shows your future nose not only in profile, but also from the front and from below. So you see your possible result from exactly the angles from which other people see you every day — and we talk about the same image before the operation. On the day of surgery these views are on hand in the operating theatre.

At the Kuzbari Centre we have three state-of-the-art operating theatres of our own, which we use exclusively for our aesthetic procedures. From reception through anaesthesia and nursing to the recovery area, everything belongs to the same house and the same team — and is set up for procedures such as your rhinoplasty.

This has a consequence you can see in the result: a rhinoplasty takes one to four hours with us. This range is deliberate: we operate in our own operating theatres and therefore without time pressure — for as long as it takes until every detail is right. How long a procedure takes is determined by the findings, not by the appointment schedule.

For you this also means: no waiting times on the day of surgery in which you sit around without having eaten, and a night in your own patient room in the same building. We carry out more than 200 nose operations here every year.
