Why we take so much time over the nose.
The nose sits in the middle of the face, it cannot be hidden, and at the same time it has to work perfectly. That makes it the most demanding region in aesthetic surgery — and it is the reason we do not treat it as a routine procedure.
A rhinoplasty takes one to four hours with us. This range is deliberate: we operate in our own operating theatres and therefore without time pressure — for as long as it takes until every detail is right. How long a procedure takes is determined by the findings, not by the appointment schedule.
The same principle applies beforehand: for the initial consultation we take more than an hour. There we examine, simulate, calculate and explain — and the decision comes only afterwards, in your own time. The fact that four in ten nose operations with us are revision rhinoplasties on a nose that has already been operated on has to do with this attitude: such procedures require particular experience, because the tissue is scarred, cartilage is sometimes missing and the starting situation is different for every patient. We deliberately take them on.

Individual planning, modern technique.
“Individual” is not a marketing word when it comes to a nose, it is a necessity: skin thickness, stability of the nasal tip, the course of the septum and the width of the two nasal valves differ from person to person. That is why every correction with us begins with a precise examination and a 3D simulation that shows your future nose not only in profile, but also from the front and from below — from exactly the angles from which other people see you every day.
The technique follows from the findings. We work a great deal with the modern nose-bridge-preserving technique known as dorsal preservation, as well as with hybrid techniques — not exclusively with traditional structural septorhinoplasty. And we stabilise the nasal tip using modern cartilage-supported techniques, which significantly reduces the risk of drooping of the nasal tip over the years.
